Start with one teacher.
TeachRoster is built teacher-first on purpose. A school doesn't need a rollout, a contract, or an IT project to try it — one teacher can run a class this week.
What works today
Everything a single teacher needs: classes and rosters, one-tap attendance with history, AI-drafted quiz homework from your own material, auto-grading, a grading inbox for work that needs a human, and class analytics that name the weak skills.
Students work in a browser on any device, a school Chromebook or a phone alike, and sign in with a class code — no school email accounts required.
What is coming for schools
School-wide dashboards, teacher management, exportable attendance and grade reports, and school-level AI policy controls are planned for a later phase. Parent summaries come after that. We would rather ship the teacher experience properly first.
Data and safeguarding
Student work is never sold and never used for advertising. Teachers review every AI draft and every suggested grade. The details are in our privacy page.
Our servers are currently in the United States, operated for us by a German company. For schools in the EU and UK, your school is the data controller and TeachRoster acts as your processor; before any school-wide rollout we will sign a data processing agreement and put the appropriate transfer safeguards in place, or move your data to servers in the EU. For US schools we act as a service provider under FERPA, and we rely on the school for any consent required under COPPA for students under 13.
Talk to us
Piloting across several classes, or want school-wide features sooner? Write to hello@teachroster.com with your school name, country, and roughly how many teachers — that genuinely shapes what we build next.
Try it first
You don’t need to talk to anyone to evaluate it. Open the teacher app with a demo class and see the whole weekly loop in five minutes.
